ALL ISLANDS, HAWAII December 22, 2005

Hawaii Health Guide.com has launched a new Japanese friendly website to assist Japanese language speakers seeking health and wellness services in Hawaii, and to support the health practitioners and businesses who provide services and products to Hawaii'sJapanese residents and visitors.

The new Japanese language version of Hawaii Health Guide is found online at: http://jp.hawaiihealthguide.com.

The new Japanese friendly site integrates a Japanese language interface to assist the Japanese user in navigating the new site, while still providing access to the diverse database of quality services in Hawaii.

Current Hawaii Health Guide members can add-on a Japanese page translated for easier reading by Japanese users. Business supporting the Japanese in Hawaii will benefit by adding their services to both the English and Japanese versions of the Hawaii Health Guide.com websites.

HawaiiHealthGuide.com has supported Hawaii'shealth & wellness communities since it was founded in 2000, and has grown to reach a global audience. This is the next step in connecting the world to Hawaii's healthy services. The English website already reaches an international worldwide audience of English speaking users from Canada, Australia, New Zealand, England, Germany, France, Italy, Brazil, Africa, Venezuela, India - just about every country with online access. Said Michael Saiz the Development Director of the sites. Japanese will be the first of the new Hawaii Health Guide multi-language portals.

According to DBEDT, Japanese visitors make up over 20% of all visitors to Hawaii, and 70% are avid Internet users. Japan has a great connection to Hawaii, as both visitors, and full and part time residents have a tradition of traveling and living here, and the Japanese are very health conscious and adventurous seekers of Hawaiis Health and Wellness experiences.

Sylvia Ferrer of Circle of Light Healing, who has listed with the HawaiiHealthGuide.com directory since 2003, welcomes the Japanese site, A group of Japanese women found me through my listing on the website, of the eight women only one spoke English. We created a wonderful 3 day cultural tour for them with healing arts, cultural site visits, and hula, all supporting a deep immersion into the Aloha spirit Sylvia is now expanding her tours to include a weeklong all-island ocean cruise: The Aloha Spirit - Healing From the Heart tour, beginning in January of 2006.

The jp.hawaiihealthguide.com website will support health practitioners and service providers by assisting Japanese visitors in finding restaurants & health food stores, hospitals & physicians, health practitioners, healthy accommodations & transportation, natural products, tours and activities, and cultural experiences such as Lomi Lomi and Hula as well as all of the great events here in Hawaii. Said Katherine Fisher, Community Coordinator. The Japanese site will continue to promote all of Hawaii Health Guide.coms Directory listings, Event listings and the HealthTalk community news, and now it will also be presented in a form that is much more convenient for the Japanese reader.

The Hawaii Tourism Authority has assisted this statewide project with matching grant funding through the SPEP State Product Enrichment Program, to support Hawaiis growing Health & Wellness communities.

Businesses on Kauai, Oahu, Maui, Molokai, Lanai and Big Island are invited to include their services in both the English and Japanese sites: www.HawaiiHealthGuide.com , www.jp.HawaiHealthGuide.com For more information contact Hawaii Health Guide at: info@hawaiihealthguide.com or call (808) 638-0888
